Rice Nocturnal is the third a cappella group formed at Rice. Since their founding in November 2010, they have transformed from a small vocal ensemble into an established and respected a cappella group that values having fun and producing a distinct, high quality sound. They are a group of friends who share a passion for singing and love sharing that passion with others.
Spontaneous Combustion is Rice University’s best and only improv comedy troupe at Rice! Founded in 1995, SpoCo has entertained the Rice community for many years with comedic based scenes based off of audience suggestions. Its members value the sense of community and friendship they share with one another, and are always proud to make audiences laugh time and time again.
